You may have already heard the news that I’m engaged and will be moving to Thomasville, North Carolina! After ten years at Mardanza Farms in Micanopy, FL, this will be a big change, but change is a good thing! Keystone Training will continue business as usual at Mardanza Farms, with Tom Pierson and assistant trainer, Lexi Tomasovich. They will continue to start young horses for all disciplines. Lexi now has a state championship under her belt in western dressage, and with over three years professional experience at Keystone Training, she’s a great choice to send your young horses to in the Ocala area.
Our wedding is set for July 12, 2025. Adam and I plan to raise beef cattle on his family’s farm, and plan to build a horse facility for me to train out of. This will include renovating some older barns, building new turnouts, and a new riding arena. Quality horse hay can be grown on the farm, or sourced locally, making board and training more cost effective.
I am looking forward to utilizing my skills and talents in serving the horse community of North Carolina. I’m also welcoming a more balanced family and farm lifestyle with open arms! It’s the little things, like waking up and looking out the window to see your favorite horse grazing in the field, watching the garden grow, and becoming more self-sufficient. If Adam and I are blessed to have children someday, this is the kind of life that we want to bring them into.
I am so grateful for all of the success that I’ve had in building my career. It has taken many horses, dedicated clients, selfless mentors, and all kinds of support along the way. I wouldn’t change a single thing, because it has brought me to where I am today. God is faithful; He’s heard my prayers — opened the doors; I believe that He will continue to use Adam and I to do great things in this next chapter of life together!
